The "NormAdresses" project
In 2006 OST, in its role as a Public Interest Group, took the initiative of launching a project to define commune rules in order to improve the quality of French addresses in the bibliographic database of record, the Web of Science®, in partnership with the whole of French research institutions confronted with this issue.
Working in concert with the database's publisher, Thomson Reuters, this project launched by OST aims to improve the treatment of French addresses in the Web of Science®.
The goal is to produce a common set of recommendations for use by French researchers on one hand and by the database's producers on the other hand.
