The introduction to the 2006 Report contains in some 20 pages the names of the authors (page 5), acknowledgements (page 7), a preface by Jean-Jacques Duby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OST (page 9), a list of the members of the OST Group (page 11), a list of the members of the Planning and Advisory Council, and the table of contents (page 14).

The general presentation of the 2006 edition by Ghislaine Filliatreau, Managing Director of OST, explains the organisation of the work and makes several useful recommendations to readers (page 13).
