The Observatoire des Sciences et des Techniques (OST) designs and produces R&D indicators.
To carry out its missions, OST maintains a database on international research, constructed from multiple sources.
By providing both indicators and expertise OST serves the actors of the French national research system.
Main projects
- Presentation of a work on the impact of scientific journals : Recent studies allow to propose a new measure of the audience factor of scientific journals
- Follow-up to the IPERU project: "Production indicators for the LOLF's P150 programme” : OST provides institutions of higher education with indicators that describe their scientific and technological production.
